On 22nd January, 2026, the MCE for Asante Akim Central Hon.Ebenezer Ekow Aidoo Launches Nkoko Nketenkete Program in the Municipality at Nyaboo in Konongo-Odumasi.

He sent gratitude to the Government of Ghana, led by H.E. President John Dramani Mahama , the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the Feed Ghana Campaign, the Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Dr Frank Amoakohene , and the Asante Akyem Central Municipal Assembly.

He stated that the first 10,000 chickens were successfully distributed to kick-start the NKOKO NKETENKETE Initiative, as promised by the President during the 2024 campaign.
